TECHNIQUE TO TRACK CANCER CELLS

A technique using a tiny glass window implanted on the skin of a mouse allows scientists track individual cancer cells as they spread and attack other parts of the body, according to a study. This window could one day play a big role in analysing how well developmental drugs block cancer from spreading according to Albert Einstein college of Medicine of Yeshiva University in New York. We hope this technology can be used to test the ability of various drug treatments to inhibit tumor cell invasiveness and metastasise.
